The Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Digital Dentistry is a fully online Level 7 postgraduate programme designed for dentists who want to develop practical skills in digital dentistry without taking time away from practice.
Delivered by an international faculty of experienced clinicians, the programme combines evidence based teaching with real clinical cases, guided software demonstrations and interactive assessments to help you build confidence using today's digital technologies.

- Digital Photography & Intraoral Scanning
- CBCT & Digital Radiography

Each module includes video lectures, clinical demonstrations, reading materials, quizzes, practical tasks and assessments.

Optional Hands on Training
Hands on clinical training days are available throughout the programme but are not included within the course fee.
These practical sessions are entirely optional and may be booked separately, allowing you to tailor your learning experience around your individual educational needs and schedule.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold a recognised dental qualification.
- Be registered (or eligible for registration) with the appropriate dental regulatory body within their country of practice.
- Have access to a computer and reliable internet connection.
- Demonstrate an appropriate standard of English where required.

Is the programme fully online?
Yes. All six modules are delivered online through our learning platform, allowing you to study whenever it suits your schedule.
Are hands on days included?
No. Hands on training is optional and available at an additional cost.
Is this a recognised qualification?
Yes. The programme leads to an EduQual Level 7 Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Dentistry.
Can I progress after completing the PGCert?
Yes. Successful completion provides the opportunity to progress onto the Postgraduate Diploma and ultimately the MSc Specialist Practice in Digital Dentistry.
Important Information
Monthly Payment Plan
The monthly payment option is a finance agreement spread over 36 monthly payments.
If you choose to cancel your subscription after completing the minimum payment term but before successfully completing the Postgraduate Certificate, your access to the learning platform, course materials and assessments will end. Continued access to the programme is available only to active students or those who have successfully completed the PGCert.
Hands on Training
Optional hands-on training days are delivered separately and are not included within the standard PGCert course fee. Attendance is entirely optional and can be booked independently as your learning journey progresses.

Membership Terms
- Scan Club Membership operates on a fixed 36-month minimum term.
- A Scan Club Contract must be signed before the scanner is sent.
- Monthly payments continue for the full 36 months.
- Hardware supplied through Scan Club is provided solely as an educational accessory to support the programme.
- Only active Scan Club Members may access discounted pricing or place hardware orders.
- The programme is designed as a fully supported pathway into digital dentistry, combining education, hardware access and ongoing guidance from the IDDA team.
