Master Digital Orthodontics & Clear Aligner Treatments

The Diploma in Digital Orthodontics & Clear Aligner Treatments is designed for dentists who want to confidently integrate contemporary orthodontic workflows into everyday clinical practice.

Developed by the International Digital Dental Academy (IDDA), this flexible postgraduate programme combines structured online learning with practical clinical principles, taking you from orthodontic assessment and digital diagnosis through to treatment planning, fixed appliances, clear aligner therapy, in house aligner manufacturing and interdisciplinary care.

Whether you are introducing orthodontics into your practice or expanding your existing skills, the programme provides practical, evidence-based education designed to support confident clinical decision making and modern digital workflows.

What You'll Learn

Throughout 12 comprehensive modules, you'll develop practical knowledge across the complete digital orthodontic workflow, including:

  • Orthodontic assessment and diagnosis
  • Digital records, photography and consent
  • Digital treatment planning
  • Fixed appliance therapy
  • Clear aligner planning and biomechanics
  • In house aligner manufacture
  • 3D printing workflows
  • Retention and stability
  • Functional and interceptive orthodontics
  • Advanced aligner mechanics
  • Advanced fixed appliance techniques
  • Interdisciplinary orthodontic treatment planning

Each module builds progressively, helping you develop both theoretical knowledge and practical confidence throughout your orthodontic journey.

Learn From Experienced Orthodontic Clinicians

Your teaching is delivered by internationally recognised clinicians with extensive experience in digital orthodontics, clear aligner therapy and contemporary orthodontic workflows.

Rather than focusing solely on theory, the programme emphasises practical implementation, helping you understand how digital orthodontic techniques can be incorporated into everyday clinical practice.

You'll learn directly from experienced educators with expertise across diagnosis, treatment planning, aligner therapy, fixed appliances and digital manufacturing.

From Digital Planning to Clinical Delivery

Modern orthodontics extends far beyond moving teeth.

Throughout the programme you'll learn how each stage of treatment connects together—from patient assessment and digital records through treatment planning, appliance selection, aligner manufacture, retention and interdisciplinary care.

The emphasis is always on structured, evidence based workflows that can be applied confidently in clinical practice.
